Hello everyone! Happy 2019. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are well-rested and relaxed. As per usual, I’ve spent my year starting off with putting together a list of the books that are coming out during the first half of the year that I can’t wait to get my hands on. There are so many amazing books hitting the shelves this year. It felt like it took me forever to narrow it down to only ten books but it’s January 2nd and here is the list, so yay I did it!
Here is my list, sorted by release date, of the books that I am most looking forward to reading that are coming out during the first half of the year.
1. The Light Over London by Julia Kelly | January 8, 2019
2. The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi | January 15, 2019
3. The Antidote by Shelley Sackier | February 5, 2019
4. The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides | February 5, 2019
5. The Huntress by Kate Quinn | February 26, 2019
6. The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon | February 26, 2019
7. Descendant of the Crane by Joan He | April 2, 2019
8. Romanov by Nadine Brandes | May 7, 2019
9. Sky Without Stars by Jessica Brody and Joanne Rendell | May 26, 2019
10. Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson | June 4, 2019
I’m very excited for 1, 4 and 5. Happy reading!

I’m crossing my fingers so hard that The Priory of the Orange Tree isn’t garbage.

The Antidote looks really cool. I have an ARC of Romanov that I’ve been dying to read for ages, but other ARCs or just mood reading got me off track. And don’t get me started on Sky WIthout STars!! Does that premise not get your heart going?? Hahaha, but seriously, it looks amazing.

Omg!! Let me know what you think of Romanov once you get to it. Right? Sky Without Stars sounds like it’s going to be an adventure to read. I can’t wait to be able to get to it

I’ll make sure you’re the first I tell! It might be the next ARC to read on my line-up… oh no, I have one in Feb first. May is still far haha. Oh yes, Sky Without Stars has sooo much promise. I’m almost scared to read it in case it lets me down?

I have The Light Over London since I won it through a Goodreads giveaway. But I still haven’t read it.

I got to read an ARC of Romanov and it was even more amazing than I was expecting, which was very relieving. I’ll have to check some of these out! It looks like there’s some historical and some fantasy. What’s your favorite genre?

That’s so good to hear! 🙂 Really love fantasy and lately I’ve been enjoying thrillers. Picked up a few good ones recently and it’s got me wanting to read more of them!

I really like historical, biographies, and fantasies. I haven’t read many thrillers, though. 🙂
