Welcome to the Sundays In Bed With… Meme! The meme that dares to ask what book has been in your bed this morning? Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed, or which book you wish you had time to read today! This meme is hosted by Midnight Book Girl.
This weekend I’m reading A Heart So Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer. I have 50 pages left and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I know a lot of people didn’t like the fact that this book wasn’t from Rhen/Harper’s POV but I am all for it. I loved Grey so much in the first book so to have a story from his perspective is perfection.

Title: A Heart So Fierce and Broken
Author: Brigid Kemmerer
Series: Cursebreakers #2
Publisher: Bloomsbury YA
Release Date: January 7, 2020
Find the heir, win the crown.
The curse is finally broken, but Prince Rhen of Emberfall faces darker troubles still. Rumors circulate that he is not the true heir and that forbidden magic has been unleashed in Emberfall. Although Rhen has Harper by his side, his guardsman Grey is missing, leaving more questions than answers.
Win the crown, save the kingdom.
Rumored to be the heir, Grey has been on the run since he destroyed Lilith. He has no desire to challenge Rhen–until Karis Luran once again threatens to take Emberfall by force. Her own daughter Lia Mara sees the flaws in her mother’s violent plan, but can she convince Grey to stand against Rhen, even for the good of Emberfall?
hope you enjoy it!

I’m glad you’re enjoying A Heart So Fierce and Broken because I did too! Lia Mara has my whole heart ♥️ Also Grey is actually pretty great. I didn’t notice him that much in the first book but I liked him in the sequel
