Oh my, it’s already the last month of the summer. How crazy is that? It feels like yesterday that it was the beginning of June and we were all waiting for it to get hot in the city, and now it’s August and constantly hot. I kind of just want to make it through this month so we can head into autumn. My fall wardrobe and warm lattes are calling out to me.

This month I’m thinking I should be able to get through a fair amount of reading. I don’t have many things planned for the month and it’s the quiet time of the year at my job, which gives me quite a bit of free time. The girls have been giving me a heads up about how things pick up in the fall (although I did start my job in the ultimate busy season in the spring), so I plan on enjoying the down time I have while it’s here.

1. When We Collided by Emery Lord
Always wanted to read an Emery Lord book and figured why the heck not start with this one since I alreay have the e-book.

2. Fighting Gravity by Julie Adams
On a blog tour for this book coming up on the 12th. I think I’m about 25% through right now and so far so good.

3. Not So Nice Guy by R.S. Grey
You can bet this will be on my TBR this month. Got an ARC from R.S. Grey and I can’t wait to dive into this. My review will be up on release day on the 9th so be sure to check it out!

4. The Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson
I meant to read more of this last month, but I had signed up for way too many blog tours that were all around the same time so this had to be put on the back burner until this month. I’m excited to get into it.

5. Private by Kate Brian
Another book I meant to read last month, but just couldn’t find the time.

6. Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews
This one has been on my kindle app for a while and I’m kind of down for a contemporary.

7. Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan
Heard nothing but great things about this book and the trailer looks incredible so I definitely need to read this before going to see the movie.

8. Impostor’s Lure by Carla Neggers
I’m part of a blog tour coming up at the end of the month for this, so it’s a given that it would be on my TBR.

9. Between the Sea and Stars by Chantal Gadoury
I saw a few release blitz posts about this, so I bought the e-book and am looking forward to reading it.

10. Dance with the Enemy by Rob Sinclair
Been craving a thriller for a while, and since I already own this one, I figure why not.
