Can someone please tell me how half of the year has gone by already? Time has absolutely flown by but maybe it’s because the first half to the year has been insane and all over the place to say the least. It’s kind of crazy how so much can happen in six months.
For this month I’m between work (volunteered to pick up some 11 hour shifts this month), any air conditioned coffee house (I think the people at Second Cup will know my name and order by heart at the end of the month), and the boy’s house (until he goes on his trip and the end of the month). Sounds kind of busy, but I should hopefully have plenty of time to read so wish me luck with my TBR for the month.
Let me know below what you guys are planning to read this month. Happy reading!
1. Arrogant Devil by R.S. Grey
Have around 80 pages left so by the time this post goes up I’ll probably be finished. I keep saying this but R.S. Grey is the queen of rom-coms and I won’t rest until everyone has picked up at least one of her books.
2. Private by Kate Brian
Yeah, I’m not sure why I picked this up either. I just wanted to re-read the series and actually get to the end this time. They’re short and sweet so it’s not that much of a commitment anyway despite the amount of books between Reed’s story and Ariana’s spin-off.
3. Earth & Sky by Megan Crewe
This month is going to be the month I finish this. Mark my words.
4. Macbeth by Jo Nesbø
I’m about 15% through and enjoying it, but oh my lord the formatting of the eArc is so hard to get through. But I do plan on finishing this before the end of the month because I need to.
5. Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi
Saw this when I went to my local indie last week and picked it up. Sure, there’s so many other books laying around my apartment but they can wait.
6. Wasted Words by Staci Hart
I’ve heard great things about her and had bought a couple of her books while they were on sale for Kindle so I’m going to give one a try this month.
7. Invitation Only by Kate Brian
To continue on with my Private re-read.
8. The New Wild by Holly Brasher
Another eARC I desperately need to get to. This one is really short so hopefully I can squeeze it in before the end of the month.
9. The Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson
I read The Kiss of Deception a while ago and loved it so I’m thinking it’s about time I get back to me favourite cutie assassin.
Wow what a great TBR! I’ve been seeing a lot about Emergency Contact on Twitter lately. It sounds really interesting and the comments have been super positive. I hope you enjoy it! Have a great month 🙂
