Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature over at The Broke and the Bookish.
This week’s theme is in relation to authors we’d love to meet. This list is going to be purely wishful thinking because a) authors very rarely come to Canada and b) when they do, they only go to Toronto and I do not live close enough to Toronto make a day trip out of a signing. Maybe one day BEA will be a possibility for me or the time to go to Toronto for a rare author appearance, but until then here’s my top ten list of authors, in no particular order, that I’m dying to meet (but probably won’t).
P.S.: It should be noted that while I just wrote “in no particular order” about 15 words ago, that was a small lie. While the rest of the list truly is in no particular order, V.E. Schwab and Renée Ahdieh are both tied for number one. I need to thank them in person for the masterpieces that were Vicious and The Wrath & the Dawn duology. I finished The Rose & the Dagger in January and I have a feeling that by the end of the year, it will easily stay as one of my top reads (if not my best read) in 2017.
V.E. Schwab | Renée Ahdieh | Maggie Stiefvater
Sarah J. Maas | Roshani Chokshi | Becky Albertalli
Nicola Yoon | Leigh Bardugo | R.S. Grey | Emily Henry
