Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/meme over at The Broke and the Bookish.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is anything related to television because all of the fall shows are about to start. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am about this post. I must admit, I watch more TV than I probably should.

For once my list is actually going to be in order of how much I adore each show. There’s a few that I’m not caught up with at the moment (sorry, I’m awful with that), but for the fair amount of them that I have seen, I’m in love with them.

1. Gilmore Girls
I started watching this back in 2005 with my mom. We bought each season and would binge watch them on Saturday nights, staying up until 5 in the morning. Now that the revival is around the corner, I’ve been binging them like crazy again. I’m so excited! I’ve been waiting 10 years for this (yes 10 because I’d like to believe that season 7 wasn’t a thing that actually happened). Oh, and most importantly TEAM JESS FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER.

2. Grey’s Anatomy
While some of the later seasons go back and forth between good and mediocre, seasons 1-3 are some of the best television I’ve ever seen. I could just go back and watch them over and over (and sometimes I do). Meredith and Derek are one of my favourite ships ever and Cristina is forever badass bitch goals.

3. Downton Abbey
LADY MARY MY FAV FOR LIFE. I love this show so so much. Period shows never fail to make me happy, but this one makes me the most happy. I love everything about this show. It is wonderful. The costumes. The music. The acting. It should be required that everyone else watch this too.

4. Reign
Mary Queen of Scots should just conquer everything. I’d be satisfied with that. Adelaide Kane can conquer everything in reality too. I’d also be satisfied with that.

5. The Simpsons
My dad would always have supper ready for 5 so we could sit down and watch this together. Even if I was super young when I started watching it (I was 5), I find that I learned a lot from the many references they’d make. To this day my dad and I still make Simpsons references and always know what the other one means, even if it’s been years since we’ve seen the episode it’s from.

6. Game of Thrones
I don’t actually need to explain this one, right? It is known by everyone on this planet that GOT is flawless.

7. Bob’s Burgers
I am 100% convinced that I am each of the Belcher children mashed up together into one person. The amount of puns in this show speaks to my soul and I legitimately break out into laughter at least 5 times per episode.

8. Orphan Black
Every time I watch this, I still think it’s different people playing the clones. That’s how good Tatiana Maslany is at acting. Felix is great. I just want to protect him from all that is evil. And the male clones. OH THE MALE CLONES. Ari Millen is a fine piece of ass and we are all blessed.

9. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
This is the only RH show – and the only reality show – I watch and almost everyone who knows that I like this judges me, but you know what, IT IS GOOD. IT IS SO GOOD.

10. Suits
Harvey Specter is my child. Every single time he does anything I’m like, “YES YOU PUT THOSE PEASANTS IN THEIR DAMN PLACE.” Also, Donna is goals. Her sass speaks to me on a spiritual level.
