Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature/meme over at The Broke and The Bookish.

I’ve always wanted to do Top Ten Tuesday and when I saw this week’s topic I couldn’t resist. How could I (or anyone, really) pass up the opportunity to talk about the books I would love to add to the many stacks found around my apartment?

This is only going to be a list of current books since I just did a post about my list of anticipated releases. So without further ado, let’s get into this.

1. It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover
The minute ARCs started going out for this book, my bookstagram and twitter feeds have been filled with pictures of this book every single day. It’s a beautiful cover so why not? The never-ending stream of rave reviews helps too.

2. Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
Another book with an incredible cover and rave reviews. Same goes for Gemina, which makes me want to get it even more knowing that the series is continuing to impress.

3. A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
I feel like this one is self-explanatory.

4. I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak
This was my summer read book going into grade 9 and I loved it. Probably became my favourite book at the time. I wrote a kick-ass paper on it too. Why is it on this list, you ask? Well, someone stole it from me and I’m still salty about it. Having a copy of this again would be great.

5. Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum
This sounds too cute and I want it.

6. Meternity by Meghann Foye
I love the premise of this book. I read the synopsis while randomly browsing Goodreads around the time it was released and I still think about it a lot.

7. The Danish Girl by David Ebershoff
I love Eddie Redmayne. I’m definitely in love with Alicia Vikander. But I really just want to read the book before watching the movie.

8. The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman
A movie coming out with Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender? The hottest couple ever? Or at the very least fighting it out with Brangelina. I need a moment. Actually a lot of moments.

9. You Know Me Well by Nina LaCour and David Levithan
This sounds like the most adorable book.

10. Ivory and Bone by Julie Eshbaugh
“A prehistoric fantasy—with allusions to Pride and Prejudice.” SAY NO MORE.
